I had some folks leave town for the weekend and they were concerned about how they should leave their home, lights on? drapes open? When doing neighborhood watch programs for the sheriff years ago, they taught not to change the way your home looks. In other words, if the drapes are not normally pulled when you are home do not send a signal to the bad guys that you are not home by pulling them when you are away. And the cost of leaving the lights on really isn't that much. Just some things to think about.
